After much soul-searching, and with a bittersweet mixture of relief and regret,  I have made the decision not to host Art From the Barn in 2015.  It was a wonderful, magical, wild ride — but many factors (physical, spiritual, and financial) have lead me to believe that I should not continue to run the show.  Art from the Barn 2014 was a great event and I think it is best we end on a high note!  I am sad that there are many wonderful artists that I will miss the opportunity to work with if I end the show — but all good things must, so the saying goes, come to an end.

I have not taken down the website because I am toying with the idea of running Art from the Barn as a “virtual” online show — more on this idea to in the days to come.

As always  ~

Many, many thanks to all the people who helped make this show a success:  my long suffering husband Mike, my friend and neighbor (and intrepid handiman) Dave Ostwald, the Schulz family, and all my children (I grow my own staff!).    A special thanks to all the artists who make my barn so beautiful by filling it with all their wonderful creations.  It was great working with you all!

A beautiful Amish built Wisconsin barn provides the setting for Art From the Barn, an entirely unique art show and sale. The setting is a family farm located about 7 miles west of Oshkosh and 2 miles east of Waukau on County Rd K, near Omro. The show is a carefully selected blend of fine arts, fine crafts, photography, and other one-of-a-kind gift items produced by local artisans.
