Art From The Barn

Many thanks go out to all the people who helped make Art From the Barn 2009 a success!

Thanks to the wonderful artists and vendors who displayed their amazing works of art, all the family and friends who worked hard to transform our barn into a beautiful venue for the artists’ wares, and all the nice folks who turned out for the event.

Special thanks are owed to David Ostwald and John Rabe, my site managers, whose creativity, energy, and attention to detail were indispensable.

Thanks also to my fantastic webmaster, Troy Schulz, who created the website, our logo, and marketing materials.

Thanks to Hannah Walker who provided the beautiful harp music on Saturday during the event.

Thanks to Dick and Donna Albright who generously provided some much needed extra parking space.

And especially thanks to my dad, Charles Foote, the patriarch of the family and enthusiastic spiritual and financial supporter of all the crazy schemes we come up with around here!

Welcome to the second annual Art From The Barn 2010! This two-day event is a fun-filled opportunity to experience some of the Fox Valley's premier artists and craftspeople. Connect with neighbors, make friends, enjoy music, food, and maybe a little dancing. You will have the opportunity to view and purchase artwork from individuals with a carefully selected blend of artistic talents including fine arts, fine crafts, photography and other one-of-a-kind gift items. A visitor to Art From the Barn will have a chance to check out the ambiance and architecture of a 100 year old barn (and pet the goats!), revel in the beautiful autumn colors, and talk to local artists. Don’t miss this opportunity to do some holiday shopping, meet your neighbors, and support the arts in your area.
